Lorraine Schau

For twenty years, Lorraine Schau has been an active volunteer for the San Rafael Public Library, giving wise leadership as a member of the Board of the Friends of the Library, a group whose mission is to assist the Library in meeting the needs of the public.  She has also faithfully led a crew of Monday morning book menders and trained others in the art of book repair to preserve irreplaceable valuable books for the use of the community.  Lorraine has served both as Treasurer and Secretary on Friends of the Library Board and has also served as cashier at countless book sales sponsored by the Friends.
