started her mission against litter in
her own front yard at the Bellam Self
Storage and Boxes and soon spread the
word to neighboring businesses. With
Andree as inspiration,
the Main Post Office on BellamBoulevard
has removed weeds and landscaped their
property, as well as adding extra
garbage cans for public use. |

In
addition, Andree has convinced the City to put
more trash cans in strategic locations
throughout the community, which has helped
reduce the litter tremendously. She also works
with other like-minded businesses
that have together turned the area into a
stellar example of community beautification. Her
latest contribution to the San Rafael Clean
Campaign is spearheading a campaign to enlist
more businesses throughout the City to sign on
to help reduce litter. |
